SFPRIDE 2024 Theme

The “Beacon of Love” theme symbolizes the enduring spirit and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community in the face of ongoing challenges and attacks on rights. It stands as a powerful statement of love, unity, and solidarity, reflecting San Francisco’s role as a global leader in the fight for LGBTQ+ liberation and fundamental human rights. The theme incorporates the pink triangle, historically a symbol of persecution during the Holocaust, which has been reclaimed as a symbol of pride and remembrance. The “Beacon of Love” celebrates the progress made while acknowledging the continuing struggles, serving as a reminder of the community's strength, diversity, and unwavering commitment to equality and inclusion. This theme highlights the importance of coming together to support one another and to stand firm in the fight against hatred and discrimination.

Co-Founder, NOH8 Campaign
After attending culinary school in New Hampshire for two years, Jeff decided to pack up and move across the country to Los Angeles. He established himself as a General Manager in the heart of the West Hollywood community. Parshle approached Adam Bouska to produce a 2009 charity calendar for AIDS Project Los Angeles, a project that would raise more than $12,000 for the organization.
Having enjoyed that small taste of what it felt like to be an activist, Jeff has found his true calling as a leader of Team NOH8 (https://www.noh8campaign.com/). His work with the campaign includes coordinating celebrity involvement in NOH8 photos and videos, producing and overseeing the NOH8 public service announcements, planning and coordinating upcoming open photo shoot locations, and much more.
President, United Partnerships
Amy Baldwin is the founder and President of United Partnerships, whose mission is to lift up individuals, groups, organizations, and communities. The team’s primary focus includes enhancing workplaces and individual experiences through employee resource groups and executive sponsor training. United Partnerships hosts an annual ERG Leadership Conference, www.ERGLeadershipConference.com, where 100 organizations unite to develop and strengthen their leadership skills.
She is an influential and innovative communications, community relations, event production, and ERG development leader and advisor. Amy formerly served as the BASF North American head of internal communications, community relations, and customer events and managed national partnerships and diversity and belonging engagement strategies. During her career, she spent time as both a nonprofit and university development director. Amy began her career in the events field, working for the Super Bowl Host Committee.
Her passions are travel, adventure, music, gardening, and spending time with loved ones and her kitties.
Managing Director, Hamilton Lane
Paul is a Managing Director at Hamilton Lane, based in the San Francisco office, working closely with clients. Paul is the Chair of the Responsible Investment Committee, providing oversight for Hamilton Lane’s responsible investment activities (as defined by ESG Risk Framework, Sustainable and Impact investments). Previously, Paul was the Director of ESG & Sustainability.
