     Sunny Myers is a proud member of the Lumbee and Sappony tribes and an experienced global leader recognized for driving change through data-driven strategies and executive-level engagement. She has held roles at Amazon, Palo Alto Networks, and Fastly, leading initiatives that foster belonging and innovation. A 2024 AISES Blazing Flame Professional Award recipient, Sunny is an engagement catalyst, community builder, and change agent. She has collaborated with Melinda French Gates and spoken at Grace Hopper, AISES, Lesbians Who Tech, ERG Leadership, and Women in CyberSecurity conferences. Outside work, she’s a proud mama bear, frybread lover, rugby fan, and collector of fly kicks.

    Legal Counsel

    Ridge Howell, JD, is a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation and currently serves as Legal Counsel of NAFS. Prior to joining NAFS, Howell served as Counsel to the Intertribal Agriculture Council (IAC), and as an Associate Attorney for Pipestem Law, P.C., a private practice law firm specializing in representation of tribal governments, tribal enterprises, and Native organizations with an emphasis on litigation in tribal, state, and federal courts. 

    Mr. Howell is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law, where he cofounded the Agriculture Law Association and served as the Editor-in-Chief of the American Indian Law Review. In addition to scholarships and honors received during his academic career, Howell was recognized by the Obama White House as a Champion of Change. Mr. Howell maintains his herd of cattle in Eastern Oklahoma, just a few miles south of where he grew up helping his family operate a commercial cattle ranch.
