Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Expert

Arti is a proud first-gen Indo-Fijian American daughter, mother, aunt and wife. She is an avid fan of true crime and questionable TV shows. Arti is currently a Senior Specialist of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion at Klaviyo where she gets to take an EDI lens to processes and products to ensure inclusion and accessibility are present. Before Klaviyo, Arti was an IDEA Business Partner at Twitter where she collaborated with engineering leaders to create inclusive strategies and programs. Prior to Twitter, Arti worked at Micron and VMware as a Program Manager in the company’s Diversity and Inclusion teams where she focused on developing and managing programs, events and external partnerships that created equity in development opportunities and a stronger sense of belonging. Arti is a firm believer in the power of small acts having a big impact.

Dr. Erick Kaʻimi Darnell is a seasoned and experienced learning researcher with over 28 years of versatile expertise in learning and development, change management, and human performance improvement.  His comprehensive experience includes leadership roles in learning and development teams, creating impactful programs, spearheading change initiatives, and collaborating with clients to identify performance improvement opportunities for enhanced outcomes.  His extensive portfolio encompasses industries such as aviation, financial services, healthcare, retail, SaaS, and utilities.  Beyond his professional achievements, he is an award-winning public speaker and a facilitator with ATD-Cascadia. He served as a commissioner for the City of Portland’s DE&I committee, and he enjoys hula dancing, motorcycle riding, and public speaking with Toastmasters International. He lives in Portland, Oregon, with his partner and two non-human children (two cats).
